Don’t let your civic participation end at the polls! On November 9th, the U.S. Senate is scheduled to reconvene and Senators Warnock and Ossoff will be expected to vote on a number of bills. The “Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act” or BAAJA is a massive 417 page bill that would prevent communities from weighing in on projects by removing opportunities for public comment, reducing transparency, and gives the fossil fuel industry a ramp to build quicker with funds from taxpayers!
