We support a community’s right to choose the best path forward for themselves. As such we oppose data center proposals in communities that do not:

Provide full transparency about details regarding data center projects:
Before approval: power and water needs, new infrastructure demands, tax revenue and abatements, jobs creates.
During operation, reporting on: power and water consumption, tax revenue and abatements, jobs created, and noise, light, air, and water monitoring and testing results
Include community members in an open and democratic decision-making process,
Have sufficient water and wastewater resources,
Provide a surety bond to cover decommissioning
